The Best Dupe of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

How was the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream ($100/50ml) created? Charlotte once said in an interview that the magic cream was originally this concoction she DIY'd as a makeup artist to prep client's skin for makeup. You know when your skin is so dry and flaky that the makeup doesn't sink in and "float" on the top, this magic cream fix that problem like a dream.
The texture of the cream is like when you combine face oil with cream, so when you apply it, it melts into the skin and immediately plumps up the skin to make it glowy without appearing oily. Everything about the cream is all well and good except the outrageous price…
Luckily, Glossier created the priming moisturizer rich ($35/50). The texture is an almost-identical whipped cream texture that quickly gets absorbed by the skin upon application. It's perfect for priming before makeup and can also be used at night. With hero ingredients like fatty acids, murumuru butter, and ceramides, the cream moisturizes well but also locks in moisture over time.
For the same 50ml, Glossier's only cost $35. Run, don't walk.
